"It dawns the longest night" is a fantasy of black humor in which the 4 horsemen of the Apocalypse: plague, war, hunger and death gather in a delirious conversation reviewing the state of humanity. War, Hunger and Plague, proud of their achievements, meet a sick and agonizing Death, who exhausted from so much pain and suffering is at the gates of her own death.

The short film is a critique of the human species that, sometimes with its actions and sometimes with its inactions, advances arrogantly towards self destruction, perhaps not of the species, but of basic moral values. In the background is greed, vanity, "all is well."

The conversation between the four horsemen, translates into a necessary reflection, a snapshot that evidences our behavior as a species seen from the necessary distance that blurs excuses and justifications, leaving only the theatre of the absurd that we sometimes represent.
