Lorena & Carlos work together and individually on animation projects and video games. 

    Lorena Ares has a degree in Fine Arts. In 2001, she joined DygraFilms as an animator, participating in the feature films “Midnight’s summer dream” (2005), “The Spirit of the Forest” (2008), & “Holy Night!” (2010), in addition to several short films. 

     Carlos F. De Vigo has participated in dozens of productions including feature films, short films and video games, as well as half a dozen R&D projects applied to animation and video games. 

     From 2011 Carlos and Lorena work together. Carlos directs the productions and the studio, and Lorena directs the animation department. They make productions such as the video game “Zombeer” (2014 - PlayStation 4, PlayStation 3, WiiU), awarded "2nd Best Indie Videogame" at the Unity China Award and "Selected project" at the Game Connection in San Francisco; or the mixed film of 2D animation with a real image “Memoirs of a man in pajamas” (2018), Carlos's debut feature nominated for a Goya, Platinum award and winner of the Gaudí award for “best animated film”. First 2D animation film selected in official competition at the Malaga Film Festival and opening title at the Tokyo Anime Award Film Festival.


     Currently they work in Dr. Platypus & Ms. Wombat. Lorena is directing the 3D CGI animated feature film “Hanna & the Monsters” (Cartoon Movie 2021 Eurimages Award finalist), & Carlos the R&D project EMOTIONAL FILMS, which has the participation of more than twenty of researchers. They both have just finished the direction of “It Dawns the Longest Night” and they are immersed in the direction of the 2D Animation Short Film "Cafunè" and the development of the 3D animated features “DinoGames” & “Moonbeam”. They combine everything with their work as teachers in the Computer Engineering degree in video games at Navarra’s University UPNA.
